What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Oversee $1.5 - $2M in account revenue as the most senior, strategic client counsel - Develop coherent strategies for clients and projects while working with top executives at leading technology companies - Generate business revenue within existing clients by expanding the scope of work and offering new services - Manage, mentor, and develop staff while promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement - Represent the employer and key clients at high-level industry events to build networking and new business contacts
What is Required (Qualifications): - Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field - Minimum 15 years of experience in communications, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity - Proven ability to build relationships with top-tier reporters and editors for high-impact media placements - Extensive writing and editing experience with a variety of print and online communications media - Experience in managing comprehensive strategic communications and media relations programs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - Innovative thinker with a track record of translating strategic thinking into actionable plans - Experience with social media influencer engagement and content campaigns - Proven leadership in building and mentoring a team of communications specialists - Ability to set up measurement programs and assess the ROI of communications activities
