What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Oversee $1.5 - 2M in account revenue as the most senior strategic client counsel - Develop and produce coherent strategies for clients and projects - Generate business revenue within existing clients by expanding the scope of work or introducing new services - Manage, mentor, and develop staff while monitoring performance and setting objectives - Represent the employer and key clients at high-level industry events and conferences
What is Required (Qualifications): - Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field - Minimum 15 years of experience in communications, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role - Proven ability to build relationships with top-tier reporters and editors for high-impact media placements - Extensive successful writing and editing experience across various print and online communications - Experience in managing comprehensive strategic communications and marketing programs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - Innovative thinker with a track record of translating strategic thinking into actionable plans - Experience with social media influencer engagement and content campaign amplification - Background in setting up measurement programs to evaluate the ROI of communications activities - Strong judgment and creative problem-solving skills
