This pivotal position involves the management and oversight of advertising sales across all assets under our department’s purview, ensuring both customer satisfaction and revenue growth. Reporting Structure: The Student Advertising Manager will report directly to the Sponsorship & Advertising Director while closely collaborating with other members of the sales team. Time Commitment: This role requires a commitment of 15-20 hours per week with attendance at team sales meetings and trainings. Compensation: Base wage: $13.00 per hour. Additional monthly commission and bonuses will be awarded for meeting sales goals and targets, contingent upon experience and performance. Timeline: Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Responsibilities Handling advertising orders efficiently and accurately. Cultivating relationships with both campus and non-campus clients to drive sales. Actively seeking out opportunities for new revenue generation. Managing special advertising products effectively. Minimum Qualifications Must be a current University of Utah student. Preferences Previous experience and/or education and training in sales, marketing, or similar. Experience in working in a team setting. Computer proficiency and ability/willingness to learn new programs and software. Must be enrolled student progressing satisfactorily towards a degree. Major or minor in business, strategic communication, management, marketing, or similar preferred.
