Audio/Visual Support Specialist

Location: Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC), Water Division

Role Overview:

Delmock Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled Audio/Visual Support Specialist to join our client's team at the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC). This role involves supporting the installation, maintenance, and Inventory of audio-visual equipment and video control systems, ensuring that all systems function optimally for the client’s operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support video control and distribution systems to ensure seamless operation.
  • Perform installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio-video equipment, including video conferencing and projection systems.
  • Oversee daily inventory management, including receiving shipments, scanning assets into the Asset Management Tool, and organizing assets in designated locations.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, recycling, and move/retrieve assets marked for disposal.
  • Remove and label storage devices from assets designated for disposal, ensuring proper degaussing as needed.
  • Ensure client users have access to fully operational equipment and provide support as necessary.
  • Collaborate with on-site teammates and other stakeholders to meet the needs of the assignment.
  • Participate in imaging end points and PC replacement activities to support system upgrades and replacements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of relevant IT and AV support experience.
  • knowledge of audio-video equipment, particularly video conferencing systems and projection technologies, including platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Cisco WebEx.
  • Experience working with ServiceNow for Asset Management.

Preferred Skills:

  • Associate’s degree or higher.
