Assist in developing Captive Resources' Health Solutions (HS) content strategy and manage execution across digital and print platforms, to align with HS business objectives. Utilize exceptional writing and creative design skills to develop and distribute compelling multimedia content and execute strategies to ensure content quality, creativity, and brand consistency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to marketing initiatives and thought leadership. Drive traffic and engagement that increase awareness and consideration of medical stop loss captives and related healthcare solutions, by informing and persuading our target audience, thus driving lead generation.
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline. 3+ years of experience as a content manager, content strategist, or similar role.
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of and experience writing for the healthcare insurance industry and/or medical stop loss insurance.
- Experience creating content for B2B digital and email marketing campaigns and growing a social media audience: skilled at understanding what audiences consume and how to create it.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; copywriting, editing, and proofreading original content.
- Working knowledge of graphic design/content development software including Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), Canva, etc. Working knowledge of Ceros platform is a plus. Experience with video editing and animation software (e.g., Premier Pro) is a plus.
- Basic working knowledge of project management and marketing automation tools e.g., HubSpot
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), and basic knowledge of HTML.
- Demonstrated ability to create high-quality, engaging, SEO-friendly content across digital and print platforms.
- Ability to deliver results throughout multiple stages in the buying journey, from engagement to education to conversion.
- Skilled in developing compelling and creative presentations using presentation software, including PowerPoint.
- Project management skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong business acumen/financial literacy with the ability to understand and develop a "big picture" view of Captive Resources' business.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Works well both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Develop and implement HS content strategy that aligns with the HS business objectives, target audience, and brand guidelines.
- Create and manage HS editorial calendar to deliver timely content across various digital platforms.
- Lead HS content creation efforts: write, edit, create, and publish original HS content including blog posts, articles, brochures, infographics, videos, newsletters, case studies, and other assets, for multiple internal and external channels.
- Develop compelling and creative presentations primarily to educate and inform consultants, brokers and prospects.
- Uphold brand consistency and increase brand/product awareness.
- Collaborate with other departments to help refine the brand story and work with the HS team, Content Unit Leader, and others on the Marketing team to plan content that aligns with HS marketing strategy.
- Assist in monitoring content performance and reporting on content analysis, metrics, KPIs.
- Contribute to the overall content strategy with fresh, innovative ideas and solutions by remaining up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging trends and evolving content formats to continually enhance content marketing initiatives.
PRIORITIES: Work with Marketing Content Unit Leader, HS team, and others on the Marketing team to develop and publish HS content, thought leadership, and execute campaigns.
