Summary of Position:

CJ ENM America is currently seeking an intern to join the U.S. Film Production & Development division for Spring 2025. The ideal candidate should have a strong desire to learn about the global film industry, feature film development, and creative processes. This candidate would also be pursuing (or recently graduated with) a degree in film, media studies, or English / creative writing. This is a paid, part time internship that is located in-office in Downtown LA.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing creative materials (scripts, novels, webtoons, etc.) and providing strong written feedback or coverage for development executives.
  • Compiling writer, director, and actor lists for projects.
  • Researching potential project ideas and trending topics to aid creative development.
  • Tracking submissions.
  • Handling general administrative duties and projects, as needed.

Requirements:

  • Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past six (6) months.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate a passion for film and/or international scripted content.
  • Strong interest and awareness of both Korean and US cultural trends.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills (Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Google Suite, Dropbox, Adobe, etc.).
