The role:

SoFi is seeking an energetic, organized and resourceful Senior Direct Mail Marketing Manager. This role is responsible for managing large scale direct mail campaigns with a focus on creative, across multiple products, driving creative strategy, execution and reporting to support acquisition goals. This role is also responsible for managing a team and their workflow, deadlines, deliverables, and providing guidance and mentorship to foster growth and development.

What you’ll do:

  1. Drive the success of direct mail campaigns, working with cross-functional teams and Agency of Record (AOR) on creative strategy, creative asset development, and seamless execution of monthly Direct Mail and Trigger type campaigns across 5-8 financial products each month.
  2. Optimize campaigns performance through creative testing to drive acquisition across products.
  3. Drive Direct Mail creative management review and approval cycles for Direct Mail assets including Direct Mail landing pages.
  4. Collaborate with AOR (our creative advertising agency) and internal stakeholders across Pricing, Legal, Compliance, Product Marketing, and Marketing Data Science to execute creative tests, managing 70+ Direct Mail creative assets per month.
  5. Work closely with Web Services, Compliance and Product Marketing Teams in the development of Direct Mail landing pages.
  6. Manage the Direct Mail Creative Testing Roadmap designed to meet/exceed revenue goals through innovative test and learn strategy.
  7. Manage creative workshops to drive annual creative strategy 2x /yr with AOR and Direct Mail Team.
  8. Manage Competitive Insights to share with product marketing and AOR to drive creative strategy and test recommendations.
  9. Management of monthly Direct Mail Campaign Performance Readouts as they relate to creative performance and next steps and present deep dive report to Product Marketing Managers monthly.

What you’ll need:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  2. A marketing professional with 8+ years direct mail experience with a strong focus on flawless campaign execution and a proven track record of managing large scale direct mail campaigns.
  3. Strong cross functional collaboration and organizations skills working with outside vendors and multiple internal stakeholders across Legal, Compliance, Marketing Data Science, Product Marketing Managers, and more.
  4. Experienced leveraging analytics to inform creative insights to get to the truth and make principle based decisions.
  5. Experience with performance reporting.
  6. Excellent proofreading skills with an eye for detail.
  7. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Hands-on project management skills.
  9. Highly motivated, self-starter, able to prioritize and manage competing tasks and show good problem-solving judgment.
  10. Adaptability - comfortable with competing demands, able to deal with frequent change, delays and unexpected events.
  11. Highly collaborative, open to suggestions, critiques, and new ideas or ways of thinking even if that means changing course.
  12. Strong problem solving skills and the ability to identify and overcome barriers.

Nice to have:

  1. Experience with Tableau to report on performance metrics.
  2. Experience working with a financial company or on financial products preferred.
  3. Well versed in google suite, primarily google sheets.
  4. Familiar with WorkFront for asset review and management.
  5. Experience working with Print Production and Creative Agencies.
  6. Passion for personal finance and tech.
