Job Description
The Conservatory of Music at Wheaton College (Illinois) seeks a dedicated choral musician with demonstrated accomplishment as a conductor to serve in a full-time, tenure-track position in the Conservatory of Music, to begin August 2025. The position will involve leading the Wheaton College Women's Chorale and/or Men's Glee Club. Additional teaching responsibilities could include basic conducting, choral methods, music education, worship arts, administration, or other areas. Preference will be given to applicants who have successful undergraduate teaching and conducting experience, an earned doctorate or equivalent professional experience, are adept at community engagement, and are committed to student recruitment. Wheaton College has recently opened a new 90,000 sq. ft, purpose-built music and arts facility, including a 650-seat concert hall and dedicated choral rehearsal room, both with outstanding acoustics.
Start Date: Full-Time - Fall 2025
