Description
The Senior Publishing Manager will manage the publishing program for a key Bloomsbury brand. This role will be responsible for robust and timely internal and external communication with global teams; focused on product and brand positioning. This person will manage schedules as well as the feedback and approval process to ensure all parties are kept abreast of progress and important milestones. The successful candidate will understand the full publishing process, be a strong team player who also excels when working independently, an excellent communicator, and extremely detail oriented. This is an outstanding opportunity to be involved in all aspects of a blockbuster brand from initial planning to on-sale campaigns to backlist growth.

Responsibilities
- Primary point of contact for key Bloomsbury brand, managing communication, feedback and approvals.
- Maintain in-house master publishing schedules and promotional timelines incorporating editorial, marketing, and sales projects, requirements, and deadlines
- Act as a communication hub for multiple in-house teams
- Regularly update internal and external-facing brand information such as management and media reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree as well as at least 5-7 years of publishing experience, preferably in managing editorial, sales or marketing either with an agency or publishing house.
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is essential
