We are seeking someone passionate about helping others connect with their heritage, culture, customs, and traditions. The right candidate is driven by finding opportunities to attract new site visitors organically and is zealous about using search analytics to make informed decisions and achieve actionable results. You will want to meet customer needs and be able to work with business analysts, content creators, designers, product managers, and engineers to meet those needs.
Responsibilities
INTERESTS AND SKILLS TO BE DEVELOPED
SEO. Help coordinate work with an internal SEO task force. Learn how to do English and international keyword research to find terms and phrases that will be used in website content strategy. Will create potential SEO content strategies for website channels and write or update content for search engine optimization as assigned.
Tracking, Reporting, and Site Support. Keep track and conduct page analytics, and make needed optimizations as assigned to increase the organic performance of online content.
Maintain and Create Reference Documents. Help update SEO training, reference and support content as needed using Microsoft SharePoint and a WYSIWYG editor.
Digital Marketing. What it takes to run an enterprise website and set success standards for digital marketing about SEO and content marketing.
Other Projects. Assist with team projects as assigned. This may include developing, tweaking, writing, preparing, and tracking content for online publishing or improved SEO performance.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE
Strong interest in or a knack for SEO and keyword research is required.
Some knowledge of the fundamentals of content strategy.
Experience with SEO analytic tools (Adobe Analytics, Adobe Suite, Searchlight, SEMrush, Google AdWords, etc)
Experience with a WYSIWYG editor or CMS system a plus (WordPress, BrightSpot, etc.)
Native international experience is a plus.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's (or near completion) in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Research, or a related field is required. Must be a current or recent student (no more than 12 months since graduation).
JOB TYPE and DURATION:
Full-time (40 hours) paid internship with some benefits.
Location: In-person. Lehi, Utah.
One year. Start date will likely be end of April 2025.
DEPARTMENT:
Family History Department
Paid Interns are qualified while enrolled in an educational institution and for one year following graduation. They must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter.
