PayEngine, a leading payment-facilitation-as-a-service (PFaasS) platform backed by venture capital, is seeking a talented Technical Writer to join our dynamic team. As a Technical Writer at PayEngine, you will play a crucial role in our mission to provide clear and comprehensive documentation for our payment technology and services. You will work closely with our development and product teams to create user-friendly technical documentation, including API guides, developer tutorials, and user manuals. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a fast-growing fintech company.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development and product teams to gather information and understand complex technical concepts.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for our payment products and services.
- Translate complex information into clear and concise content that is easy to understand and follow.
- Create API guides, developer tutorials, user manuals, and other technical documentation.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of all documentation, following company style and formatting guidelines.
- Revise and update documentation as needed to reflect product updates and changes.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and improve documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to explain them in a clear and concise manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using documentation tools and software, such as Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, or similar.
- Experience with API documentation is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Experience in the payments or fintech industry is a plus.
