Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in social media strategy or community management
  • Proven track record of growing and engaging online communities on Facebook and Instagram
  • Experience in influencer partnership management
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms and their distinct audiences
  • Excellent writing, grammar, and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Experience with social media management and analytics tools

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with YouTube, Reddit, Twitter, or TikTok community management
  • Background in content creation (photography, video, graphic design)
  • Experience with social media advertising and paid promotion
  • Knowledge of social media compliance and disclosure requirements

Essential duties/responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy & Platform Management
  • Lead our social media presence, with primary focus on Facebook and Instagram
  • Contribute to evaluation and expansion strategy for YouTube, Reddit, Twitter, and TikTok
  • Create platform-specific content strategies that leverage each channel's unique features and audience behaviors
  • Stay ahead of platform updates, new features, and emerging opportunities

Community Management & Engagement
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media engagement strategy across all platforms
  • Foster meaningful interactions with followers through timely responses, comments, and proactive outreach
  • Monitor brand mentions, hashtags, and relevant conversations to identify engagement opportunities
  • Create and maintain a consistent brand voice across all social media interactions
  • Build relationships with complementary brands and industry peers through strategic engagement

Influencer & Partnership Management
  • Identify and evaluate potential influencer partnerships aligned with our brand values
  • Develop and manage influencer collaboration programs, from outreach to execution
  • Track and analyze the performance of influencer partnerships
  • Maintain a database of influencer relationships and campaign outcomes
  • Negotiate partnership terms and manage partnership budgets

Content Strategy & Creation
  • Encourage and curate user-generated content through campaigns and community initiatives
  • Make platform recommendations and execute platform-specific content strategies
  • Develop publishing calendars that balance promotional content with community engagement
  • Schedule and sequence posts to social channels
  • Adapt content strategy based on performance metrics and community feedback
  • Collaborate with internal creators to produce and curate content assets and ensure content alignment across all channels

Analytics & Reporting
  • Track and analyze community growth, engagement metrics, and partnership performance across all platforms
  • Provide regular reports on community health and campaign effectiveness
  • Identify trends and opportunities for community growth and engagement
  • Make data-driven recommendations for strategy optimization
