Resilience Corp.
Senior Product Designer
Resilience Corp., New York, NY, United States
About Us
At Resilience, we're creating a new category that integrates cybersecurity, cyber insurance, and cyber risk management.
Founded in 2016 by experts from across the highest tiers of the US military and intelligence communities - and built by prominent leaders and innovators from the insurance, technology, and cybersecurity industries - Resilience is rewriting the rules of how cyber risk is assessed, measured, and managed. Our integrated cyber risk solutions connect risk quantification software, cybersecurity experts, and A+ rated cyber insurance, all purpose-built for middle and large organizations.
Guided strongly by our mission and four core values - transparency, excellence, grit, and humility, our culture uniquely blends many different backgrounds, experiences, and skills from across industries and geographies - all focused on helping our clients and partners stay ahead of the bad guys. We are a cybersecurity company, a Cyber and Tech E&O-focused MGA, a fintech startup, and a data science powerhouse, all purposefully built into one.
Resilience is proud to be backed by leading technology investment firms, including General Catalyst, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Intact Ventures, Founders Fund, CRV, and Shield Capital. With headquarters in San Francisco, Resilience's team is globally dispersed, with offices in New York, Chicago, Baltimore, Los Angeles, Toronto, and London. Resilience offers insurance coverage through its licensed and appointed insurance agents and security services through its expert security team.
The Senior Product Designer will apply "fullstack" design services: research, strategy, UX and visual design, to the range of software products and service experiences that comprise the Resilience solution. Our solution provides a next-generation approach to the management of cyber risk. We combine insurance, threat intelligence, security expertise and AI-driven, predictive modeling tools to provide customers an unmatched ability to achieve true resilience in that face of cyber threats that continue to grow in their scale and sophistication.
This is an exciting time to join a fast-paced and rapidly growing startup backed by some of the top VCs in the industry (General Catalyst, Lightspeed Ventures, Founders Fund, etc), as we double down on our SAAS offering. This opportunity is well-suited for the designer with an interest in how users can leverage data, how AI can solve business problems, and the creation of new products from concept to delivery.
We're looking for a Senior Product Designer with a view of both the "big picture" and attention to details, adept at collaboration, exploration and a commitment to UX craft and a love of visual design. You will be a key member of a small, growing team tasked to support conversations with users, stakeholders and experts, to deliver insight and ideas, to help build consensus around product vision, to prototype and test concepts, and to design and ship products with real impact for customers and for our business. Thoughtful, with a "bias toward action", motivated by passion for your work, easygoing and positive are the vibes we strive to maintain on our team. You value the opportunity to develop a long term engagement with a product, helping to evolve and optimize over time, and with a team, growing our ability to deliver with outsized impact.
We specifically require a designer with experience working in an agile, startup environment. You will be responsible for delivering rapid prototypes to define and market-test new, technically complex product offerings that provide clear business value to a diverse range of customers.
We strive to maintain a team atmosphere that is thoughtful, action-oriented, passionate about our work, easygoing, and positive. You value the opportunity to develop a long-term engagement with a product, helping it evolve and optimize over time, and you're excited to grow our team's ability to deliver with outsized impact.
As a core member of the product design team, you will collaborate with business and product leaders, data scientists, security experts, and developers to deliver powerful digital tools and services that align with Resilience's mission. We prioritize agility and flexibility, essential for thriving in the ever-evolving startup environment where continuous learning and adaptation are key.
