The Lead User Experience (UX) Researcher plays a strategic role in planning, conducting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative research to help create useful, usable, and desirable digital experiences for our customers, partners, and employees. The incumbent possesses expert knowledge of UX research techniques and UX/UI design principles. They will work closely with users, the UX team and key stakeholders to understand user needs, preferences and pain points to support the evolution of digital products. The incumbent will be responsible for leading planning and execution efforts of a variety of UX research methods including user interviews, usability testing, card sorting, surveys, and field studies. They identify research patterns and trends from the data and collaborate on insight identification and deliverables such as findings presentations, personas, journey maps, etc. This individual will lead UX strategy with their designer peers to influence product strategy and roadmaps based on insights identified and drive UX success measurement implementation. They will mentor other researchers on UX research best practices and approaches to enhance product and team success. Their efforts will contribute to the delivery of high-quality research to support digital products and services. Develop and execute comprehensive user research strategies that align with business goals and product roadmaps in collaboration with designers, product and key stakeholders. Own research activities, tending to the strategy and details required in the planning, execution and reporting phases. Create standard approaches as well as custom plans that fit within given scope, time and needs. Conduct a variety of generative and evaluative UX research to understand user needs, pain points, behaviors and attitudes for applicable designs and technology products using quantitative and qualitative research methods Analyze research data to identify patterns and trends to generate actionable insights and recommendations. Create clear, concise and influential research reports and presentations to effectively communicate insights. Present findings to a wide audience of stakeholders. Design and Facilitate workshops with stakeholders and end users to collaboratively document user information, generate new ideas and co-create potential future visions Work with designers to craft personas, journey maps, experience maps, service blueprints and other deliverables from research findings. Collaborate with other researchers, designers, product owners, and various stakeholders to integrate research findings into the product development process Lead efforts to create and maintain documentation standards for research processes and champion the consistency and clarity in research documentation and reporting. Organize data across research studies and ensuring that it is findable and accessible to others. Create plans for ongoing product success measurements that leverages input from end users through thoughtful data collection, observations, and careful analysis. Stay current on latest UX research methods, tools and industry trends and best practices to ensure optimal user experience Proactively identify and create internal processes, templates, and guidelines to improve team optimization and documentation in collaboration with other researchers and UX management team Utilize, assess and maintain a portfolio of customer insight tools including survey tools, user research tools, analytic platforms, a
