Role Overview: As part of our commitment to user experience (UX) and our ambition to create products that exceed user expectations, we are expanding our team with a new Senior UX Researcher role. In this position, you will lead research studies and collaborate with product, design, engineering, and content teams to inform the direction of the ClinicalKey product suite. Key Responsibilities: Lead & Conduct Research: Guide evidence-based research strategy and represent UX Research in cross-functional working groups. Lead user-centered research processes, inspiring the team to deliver product improvements and innovations. Promote UX Research best practices, equipping researchers and designers to conduct studies, analyze data, and present findings. Set an engaged pace for iterating research in 2 sprint cycles. Use data to establish key metrics for the team, providing clarity and direction. Focus on the Customer: Gather, evaluate, and develop a solid understanding of customer use cases and needs. Understand competitors and market segments. Collaborate with Product and UX teams to inform product strategy based on user needs. Creatively Solve Problems and Define Research Strategy: Lead strategic research to identify novel product opportunities. Facilitate working sessions to move the team from questions and assumptions to clearly stated user needs and problems. Plan and organize recruitment in partnership with our ResearchOps team. Apply the right research methods for appropriate goals and coach others in UX Research. Advocate research findings to diverse internal audiences through presentations and reports. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to integrate research insights into the product development lifecycle. Champion user-centered business decisions and foster a culture of customer-centric thinking. Lead knowledge-sharing sessions to educate teams about the value and impact of UX research. Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring their perspectives are considered in research planning. Act as a bridge between teams, facilitating alignment on user needs, goals, and design solutions. Required Qualifications/Skills: 3-5 years of recent user research experience in a product development context, including native mobile apps. Experience designing and leading large-scale complex research using diverse methodologies (e.g., task analysis, usability testing, prototype testing).
