Senior Marketing Manager

for Läderach North America will be a pivotal leader in driving the marketing strategy and execution for the North America region, reporting directly to the President of North America. This role will oversee all marketing efforts for the brick-and-mortar locations across the U.S. and Canada, ensuring alignment with global brand standards while addressing regional market needs. The Senior Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with the global marketing team in Switzerland, ensuring consistency in messaging and brand positioning. Strategic Marketing Leadership:

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategy / tactics to drive brand awareness, traffic, and sales growth for North American brick-and-mortar locations. Align marketing initiatives with the company’s global vision while tailoring campaigns to regional preferences and consumer behavior. Identify market trends, opportunities, and challenges to inform strategy and maintain Läderach’s competitive edge.

Campaign Development and Execution:

Lead the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, including seasonal promotions, product launches, and experiential activations. Oversee content creation for in-store and digital platforms, ensuring it reflects the brand’s premium quality and storytelling approach.

Collaboration with Global and Local Teams:

Serve as the primary liaison with the global marketing team in Switzerland, ensuring consistency in brand standards and campaign execution. Work cross-functionally with regional teams, including sales, operations, and IT, to ensure marketing strategies are effectively implemented.

Team Management and Leadership:

Build and lead a high-performing marketing team to support North American initiatives. Provide coaching and development to team members, fostering creativity and innovation.

Performance Measurement and Reporting:

Analyze marketing performance data and customer insights to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and drive continuous improvement. Provide regular updates to the President and global team on marketing activities, performance metrics, and ROI.

Budget Management:

Oversee the North America marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize impact.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred. 7+ years of marketing experience, including leadership roles ideally within confectionery resp. food retail, luxury, or CPG industries. Proven success in developing and executing regional marketing strategies in alignment with global brand standards. Strong understanding of retail dynamics, consumer behavior, and omnichannel marketing. Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. Analytical mindset with experience in measuring campaign performance and ROI. Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed approximately 25-35%. Physical ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, stretch and lift up to 20 pounds.

Preferred Skills:

Experience working with global teams and managing cross-cultural collaboration. Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., German, French, or Spanish) is a plus. Passion for premium food brands and understanding of the luxury market segment.
