What We Need

Corpay is looking to hire a Director of Strategic Marketing within our North American Trucking division. This position falls under our Vehicle Payments line of business and is a hybrid role based out of Atlanta, GA, or Brentwood, TN. In this role, you will focus on demand generation, customer retention, and product marketing while achieving business objectives. As the Director of Strategic Marketing, you will lead demand generation and customer lifecycle marketing strategy, focusing on driving high-quality leads and optimizing the acquisition funnel. This is a hands-on role where you'll architect the marketing strategy while also driving day-to-day execution. You will report to the Chief Marketing Officer, USVP, have direct reports, and regularly collaborate across various business units.

As a Director of Strategic Marketing, you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

Role Responsibilities
  • Growth Strategy Development: Developing, leading, and executing a demand generation strategy that aligns with Corpay's growth objectives, market positioning, and sales goals.
  • Pipeline Growth: Owning the marketing pipeline and being accountable for pipeline generation and progression, ensuring that the team meets or exceeds monthly and quarterly lead generation targets.
  • Digital Marketing Execution: Building integrated, highly targeted multi-channel campaigns and programs that drive customer acquisition, retention, and expansion.
  • Product Marketing: Collaborating with Product Management to develop positioning and messaging for key products.
  • Sales Enablement: Equipping sales teams with impactful resources to effectively communicate value propositions and close deals.
  • Data Analysis: Fostering a data-driven culture, leveraging analytics to define and track KPIs, optimizing and measuring campaign ROI, lead velocity, and pipeline contribution.
  • Team Leadership: Leading, mentoring, and managing a team of campaign managers, providing guidance on campaign development, best practices, and performance optimization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering with Sales, Product, Creative, Marketing Operations, and Customer Success teams to align on go-to-market strategies and ensure cohesive execution across all channels.


Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience with demand generation, product, and customer marketing.
  • Minimum of 3 years of people management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with marketing & sales teams and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Ability to perform in-depth analysis and create accurate forecasts based on disparate data sources to inform marketing investments.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities effectively and build strong relationships with organizational stakeholders.
  • Strong work ethic and self-starter mentality, with the ability to excel in both individual contributor roles and people management.
  • Experienced and conscientious people leader who excels at coaching, providing vision, working collaboratively with team members, and acting as a cross-team connector for product marketing, sales, customer, and partner marketing.
  • A proactive mindset and ability to work cross-functionally across teams to drive lead and pipeline goals.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Adobe Analytics.
