Job Description: Resource Type: Onsite Maintenance Engineer (Level III)
Additional Skills: •PC literacy, emailing, MS Office portfolio. •Knowledge of IP addressing, internet usage and terminology. •Video conferencing support knowledge, Gatekeeper, e.164, ISDN, setup and configuration. •Web conferencing and media broadcast streaming. •AV wiring, connectors, data wiring (Cat5e), baluns, USB adaptation
Resource Description:
The Onsite Maintenance Engineer (OME) maintains and is responsible for the support and repairs of all AV equipment
within fully integrated conference rooms, boardrooms other similar rooms containing AV equipment. The OME interfaces
directly with the customer on a daily basis and is responsible for maintaining the functionality of all AV components and
integrated conference room equipment.
General Responsibilities
At a minimum, the OME will accomplish the following tasks as part of their responsibilities:
1. Performs preventative maintenance to ensure equipment and room is ready for use
2. Responsible for identifying defective/failed equipment and owns issues until resolved
3. provide remediation Primary interface to manufacturers, developers, other engineers and project managers in support of identifying and implementing resolutions for highly complex system issues
4. Performs remote troubleshooting for local and regional offices
5. Provides reports and adheres to service levels as agreed upon
6. Perform maintenance tasks to help maintain customer spaces including but not limited to, testing/repairing cables and testing/repairing various hardware components
7. Field service support of networked devices (Routers, IP Protocols, etc.)
8. Ability to upload and download control programs and make minor Crestron SIML Programing changes
9. Ability to perform minor edits to control programs

In addition to the above listed responsibilities, the OME will also provide the following Customer requested responsibilities:
At a minimum, the OME will possess the following skills:
1. Able to perform routine maintenance and problem diagnosis for projectors, microphones, speakers, amplifiers and
2. LCD/Plasma Displays
3. Ability to perform advanced AV related testing and troubleshooting
4. Can read and utilize blueprints and audio/video flow diagrams
5. Able to perform routine testing and problem diagnosis for projectors, microphones, speakers, amplifiers and
6. LCD/Plasma Displays
7. Ability to perform basic AV and video conferencing related testing and troubleshooting
8. Industry Certifications from current AV manufacturers
