AV Support Technician x 2 (Audio Visual) (RL)

Job Title: AV Support Specialist

Location: Beach Road

Salary: $1,800 to $2,300

Work Week: 5 days work week (8.30 am / 9.00 am to 5.30 / 6.00 pm)

Minimum Qualification: NITEC

Experience: 2 years

Responsibilities:

• To provide reports and adhere to service levels as agreed upon
• To perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment and rooms are ready for use
• To be responsible for identifying defective/failed equipment and own issues until resolved
• To work in cooperation with clients and company support teams in providing remediation
• To support developers, engineers, and project managers in identifying and implementing resolutions for highly complex system issues
• To ensure all AV spaces are presentable for use
• To perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum NITEC/Diploma or its equivalent
• A Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) would be a plus point
• At least 2 years of working experience preferably in operations or project support, video conferencing and/or onsite support audio-visual support, IT, or Network background
• Ability to perform basic AV related testing and troubleshooting for projectors, microphones, speakers, amplifiers, and LCD/Plasma Displays
• PolyCom/CISCO and core voice operational experience an added advantage
• Able to take ownership with decisive action to restore services
• Self-motivated and driven to deliver in a challenging global multi-cultural environment
• Ability to work in a high-pressure situation with tight deadlines
• Good communication skills (both spoken & written)
• Good time management and organizational skills
