Senior Content Marketing Manager

Coast, New York, NY, United States

Coast is re-imagining the trillion-dollar U.S. B2B card payments infrastructure, with a focus on the country's 500,000 commercial fleets, 40 million commercial vehicles, and many million commercial drivers. The incumbent technologies that cater to these customers are decades old, and drivers, fleets, and the merchants that serve them all increasingly demand modern digital experiences and affordable and transparent financial services products. Coast's mission is to deliver them at a transformational scale, and to improve working lives in one of the country's biggest industry sectors. The company is backed by top fintech and mobility venture funds.

The content landscape is evolving rapidly. With lower barriers to production, accelerated trends, and traditional strategies losing their impact, standing out requires authentic, differentiated storytelling. At Coast, we believe great content can build our brand, attract new customers, and deepen relationships with existing ones.

As Senior Content Marketing Manager, you'll be at the forefront of this challenge-experimenting with topics, formats, channels, and distribution strategies to deliver insightful, engaging, and entertaining content that resonates with our audience and drives measurable results. You'll test and iterate on new formats and channels, including audio and video. You'll leverage AI tools and growth tactics to improve content quality, productivity, and impact.

Identify the right themes, perspectives, formats, and channels that will resonate with our audience of finance leaders and fleet managers in the transportation and construction industries.

  • SEO: Act as the main point of contact for our SEO agency and writers.
  • Thought leadership and corporate communications: Elevate Coast's voice and perspective in the market, ensuring we're heard as an innovative leader in the space. Lead efforts in PR and corporate communications to enhance Coast's brand presence.

  • Business-minded and customer-obsessed, with a strong drive to create content that is both relevant and impactful for our audience while advancing business objectives.
  • A creative storyteller who's willing to experiment with new ideas and get hands-on with content creation. You believe your content should be differentiated, with a unique voice, but that AI can help you be more efficient.
  • Managerial experience or proven ability to manage external resources like freelancers and agencies to scale content production effectively.
  • Business-minded and customer-obsessed, you want to create content that is relevant to our audience while serving our brand and business objectives
