Job Description Cohere seeks a talented and strategic leader to join as the Senior Manager of Performance Content. You will develop and execute a content strategy to position Cohere as the premier Secure AI solution for businesses, focusing on generating sales leads, fueling pipeline, and accelerating revenue. Your content will target C-level executives and decision-makers at Global 2000 companies, influencing their understanding and adoption of Cohere's AI technologies. You will collaborate with Product Marketing, Web, Analytics, and Sales teams to develop compelling content for key industry verticals. The ideal candidate combines creativity, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making to produce impactful content that engages audiences and drives measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities Content Strategy and Creation
Build a global content strategy aligned with Cohere's goals, targeting C-levels and decision makers at Global 2000 companies.
Create content such as blog posts, whitepapers, eBooks, newsletters, infographics, etc.
Optimize content for SEO and ensure consistency with Cohere's brand voice and tone.
Develop content supporting customers at all stages, including product education, guides, webinars, and best practices.
Leadership and Collaboration
Lead and mentor content creators to ensure high-quality output.
Partner with Product Marketing, Web, Analytics, and Sales teams to align content with product messaging and strategies.
Collaborate with the Events team to create engaging webinar and event content, working with subject matter experts.
Foster a collaborative environment and support teams to meet their content needs.
Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and emerging tech to keep Cohere at the forefront.
Business Impact and Measurement
Develop frameworks to measure content impact on pipeline creation.
Use analytics to assess campaign performance and optimize strategies.
Track content performance regularly, framing ROI in terms of deal flow and revenue.
Iterate content strategies to maximize business impact.
Analyze content performance across channels to identify improvements.
Qualifications
15+ years of developing and executing successful content strategies, preferably in B2B tech or SaaS.
5+ years managing and leading a content team.
Excellent writing and editing skills, capable of creating compelling narratives for different formats and audiences.
Strong project management skills, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects.
Proficiency in content creation tools, SEO, and analytics platforms.
Deep understanding of the B2B sales cycle and content's role in driving pipeline and revenue.
Passion for Secure AI and its business potential.
