The Senior Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating and supporting the visual messaging for multiple business channels, including Commercial and Personal Lines by using multiple design programs and their natural creativity.

The Senior Graphic Designer creates engaging and innovative experiences for our customers by building new and innovative concepts based on user needs, technology, and current and future trends. This position collaborates with UX, Technology, and Product Management teams to create innovative experiences across all our company’s products, leveraging passion for branding, digital asset development and design quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Provide design direction and guidance, with a team of UX Designers and Graphic Designers while adhering to brand standard and guidelines.
  • Assist Creative Director by providing creative feedback to junior designers.
  • Participate and lead brainstorming of creative concepts for print, online and video marketing communications.
  • Perform graphic design and layouts for printed/web communications including Branding elements, promotional items, print advertisements, web graphics and digital ads, presentations, marketing materials, and tradeshow displays.
  • Foster our JM culture and principles within the design and marketing groups, while setting new standards in executional and operational excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree is required in Advertising Design, Graphic Design or similar field.
  • 6+ years of experience in a production, studio, or agency environment.
  • 2 years of managing design projects.
  • A strong design portfolio with samples of digital, advertising and in-store point-of-sale elements.
  • Video editing is not required, but would be considered a plus.
  • Active hands-on team member executing the daily work as needed.
  • Phenomenally comfortable with Standard design and office applications (Adobe Creative Cloud suite, Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Effective at working across organizational boundaries to define, manage, and prioritize work.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex interaction concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
