About the POS Team

Our incredible team provides innovative coverage options and smart technology solutions that transform a complex process into a seamless journey for everyone involved. Comprising a passionate Product Manager, a creative Product Designer, and talented Engineers, we're collaborating closely to enhance our POS App.

What You'll Do
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define product vision and strategy.
  • Produce all design assets, including concept designs, user flows, wireframes, user scenarios, journey maps, mockups, etc., ensuring intuitive and seamless user interactions.
  • Design user flows, navigation systems, and interactive prototypes that ensure consistency and coherence across all touchpoints of the user journey.
  • Develop high-quality, visually appealing interface designs that align with our brand identity, enhancing the overall product experience.
  • Conduct usability testing to gather feedback on design prototypes and validate design decisions, iterating on designs based on findings.
  • Use both quantitative and qualitative data to inform design decisions, guiding product improvements with system data trends and user feedback.
  • Conduct user research to deeply understand customer needs, behaviors, and pain points, synthesizing findings into actionable insights.
  • Design for multi-channel experiences, ensuring usability and scalability across diverse touchpoints.
  • Work within a small, empowered product team to balance business objectives with user needs, collaborating with engineers to ensure smooth implementation.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of our design system, ensuring consistent design language and experiences across the product suite.
  • Balance business priorities with user needs to create impactful experiences.
  • Operate effectively in both collaborative environments and autonomously when acting as the sole product designer on a squad.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product design.
  • Experience designing mobile applications and responsive designs.
  • Proven experience collaborating with Product Managers and Engineers in a squad model to deliver customer-facing products.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating insights into actionable design solutions.
  • Deep empathy for users, with the ability to conduct interviews, analyze feedback, and prioritize product planning.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions effectively.
  • Helpful but not required: Experience designing for native iOS and Android apps in direct-to-consumer environments.
