The Modernization Renovation Manager will be under the direct supervision of the Executive Director, responsible for the implementation of the stimulus funds, modernization program, policies, and USDA Housing preservation Projects and/or all FBHA renovation of 1937 housing stock.
The Modernization Renovation Manager will work closely with the FBHA Contract Officer, Environmental Manager, and Inspector(s) in the completion of the stimulus work. Responsibilities include:
- Generating Scopes of Work, estimates, and assessments, while achieving agreed-upon deadlines.
- Managing day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
- Completing assigned projects in a timely manner and managing assigned staff.
- Abiding by all procurement activity and policies, scope of work, and cost estimates, while providing all information directly to the FBHA contract officer.
- Working closely with the Chief Financial Officer and Grant Writer on cost reporting reimbursements, if any.
- Collaborating with FBHA maintenance on unit costs and preparing a plan of action with Maintenance and Renovation.
- Inspecting units upon completion.
- Participating in environmental training for certification and all training provided by FBHA on management policies.
- Establishing an operations budget for assigned projects by revising original estimates based on validated project scope.
- Meeting with contractors and owners to discuss project scope, budgets, performance, and close-out.
- Working with multiple vendors and subcontractors on projects.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
