Job Overview
The Seacrest Studios - Media Production Specialist will span a number of disciplines such as on-air broadcaster, photo/videographer, video/audio editor, program developer, media specialist, and more. Media Production Specialists are responsible for establishing positive associations with all of Children's Hospital Colorado (CHCO) audiences, which may include internal stakeholders, patients and families, media, celebrities, community, referring physicians, payers, partners, healthcare industry and the public at large.

Hours per week: 40, eligible for benefits
Shift: As needed by department, generally 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
Qualifications
- EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in copywriting, journalism, marketing, public relations, communications, English or a related field.
- EXPERIENCE: One year of experience relevant to the assigned discipline, in an agency, studio, or corporate environment.
- EQUIVALENCY: Professional experience, beyond requirements, in a related field may substitute for a Bachelor degree requirement on a year for year basis.
Responsibilities
POPULATION SPECIFIC CARE
- No direct patient care.
- Patient contact only in Seacrest Studios, directly serving the CHCO patient/family population.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Prepares, produces, and executes daily on-air broadcast in the Seacrest Studios.
- Operates, installs, and maintains studio equipment.
- Sources and edits audio/music files.
- Creates visual still and motion media.
- Produces stories, captures photos and video for projects.
- Collaborates with multiple departments in developing programming.
- Follows creative direction of Seacrest Studios Manager.
- Manages own project workflow.
- Helps to ensure successful representation of the CHCO and Seacrest Studios brands.
- Additional duties as needed.

Salary Information: Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $57,184.55 to $85,776.82. Hourly Salary Range: $27.49 to $41.24.
