ADVERTISING SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Published: Nov 15, 2024 – The Advertising Sales Representative is responsible for achieving monthly sales revenue goals by presenting tailored advertising solutions that effectively promote clients' products or services. This position develops and delivers compelling sales presentations and contracts to both new and existing customers while maintaining and expanding contact data within the ACT system. The representative also responds promptly to inbound inquiries, manages insertion orders accurately, and provides comprehensive support for advertising programs.
Job Summary:
- Interact with customers professionally and courteously.
- Keep current on credit department policies and procedures.
- Communicate and/or report to the Advertising Outside Sales Supervisors any customer issues/problems and any other pertinent business information daily.
- Maintain accurate and complete sales records and promptly submit all required reports.
- Presents professional and helpful behavior and attitude to customers, peers, and staff.
- Lead and manage digital marketing and advertising initiatives for large social media clients business to business sales.
- Analyze and interpret data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations for optimizing marketing ROI and performance of digital campaigns.
- Build relationships with decision-makers that drive their engagement and excitement about advertising products and services offered by the client.
- Develop professional relationships and attend appropriate business networking events.
- Manage Accounts Receivable of current customers, and assist with collections of payments due to keep accounts current, if required.

Responsibilities:
- Servicing and maintaining existing client base with weekly phone calls.
- Providing customer service to walk-in businesses and new clients via the phone.
- Prospecting new business from other media to expand the client base.
- Coordinating the layout of the section, working with the art and traffic department on ad proofs.
- Handling and processing payments from customers and clients.
- Tracking advertising trends and adjusting sales plans accordingly.
- Managing one or more marketing campaigns in the local territory and ensuring proper placement of advertising materials.

- Execute advertising and marketing strategies face-to-face with customers in a retail setting.
