Rock Point Real Estate is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Community Manager for a 192-unit apartment community in Decatur, AL.

As a direct report to the Regional Manager, this role is vital in executing management policies, stewarding physical assets, and serving our residents to enhance property value for the owners.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and hold the team accountable for their daily and weekly responsibilities
  • Rent collections and deposits
  • Eviction filings and resulting court appearances
  • Lease packet management and audits
  • Unit inspections
  • Lease violations and other resident correspondence
  • Processing of purchase orders and invoices
  • Scheduling of unit turns and updates to make ready board
  • Maximizing NOI through rent growth and expense control
  • Weekly and monthly reporting kept up to date
  • Performance of all tasks in alignment with company standards

Qualifications and Characteristics

  • A Go-Getter attitude.
  • Proven experience in property management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills. Be able to manage staff and take responsibility for their performance.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
  • Have a desire to serve the residents and the property owners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and budgeting.
  • Organizational skills
  • A commitment to continuous personal and professional development.
  • Take pride in their work
  • Experience with AppFolio and LITCH is a plus

Pay:

Estimated $50,000- $55,000 a year. (Hourly rate and commissions included)
