Position Title: Graphic Designer Reports to: Marketing Manager Supervises: N/A
Summary of Position: The Graphic Designer will produce layouts, graphic designs, and marketing materials, including the creation and distribution of visual communication media such as books, periodicals, television, electronic media, and packaging pieces from the marketing department (posters, duratrans, e-posters, Janus displays, Speed Media, mailers, newsletters, etc.). The designer will also organize the work produced for ease of distribution on internal and external servers.
Adherence to established procedures for creating, submitting, and archiving design files, use of job packets to track work performed, and adherence to established design parameters for company artwork is required. The designer will assist with any special events, promotions, or concerts as needed and will undertake other special projects and duties as assigned.

Education and /or Experience Requirements:

- Must have proficiency with major industry software and be able to contribute conceptually to the design process
- Must have a working knowledge of Macintosh computers and popular graphics industry software including but not limited to Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and similar programs
- Must be able to maximize input and output devices such as printers, cameras, and other peripherals and send/retrieve materials via the internet
- Illustration, writing, and multimedia skills are a plus
Must have excellent communication skills.
Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of one year experience in Casino Marketing, Gaming, or Casino Services experience is preferable.
- Must possess outstanding verbal and written communications skills and have a positive, dynamic, and outgoing personality; must have a pleasant and professional speaking voice
- Must possess extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign (PageMaker, Quark, or other layout programs)
- Graphic Design Skills, Layout Skills, Creative Services, Customer Focus, Creativity, Flexibility, Attention to Detail, Deadline-Oriented, Desktop Publishing Tools, Ability to Collaborate, Acute Vision, and the ability to handle rejection and constructive criticism
- Video editing programs; Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere is a plus
- Must have MAC products proficiency; Photo & Video editing experience is required
- Basic knowledge of office equipment, printers, fax, and finishing equipment; experience with print workstations, Fiery, and Creo is preferred
