Position Title: Music Program Social Media Coordinator WS, Student

Location: Albany Campus, Albany, OR
Job Summary
This position is responsible for LB Choirs’ presence on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, and X.
Required Qualifications
- Must have social media experience, either personal or professional.
- Must be a “self-starter”.
- Must be able to work with others collaboratively.
- Must have experience with digital a/v sites.
- Must have video/sound editing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Requires the ability to work with staff and students. Work is performed in an office or classroom setting with minimal exposure to safety or health hazards.
Responsibilities
- Post creative weekly updates pertaining to information about LB Choirs’ activities or other ways to engage our audience.
- Connect to other organizations via social media.
- Collaborate with Advancement-Marketing and Raymund for content.
- Engage social media followers.
- Find new and creative ways to get LB Choirs’ message out through social media.
- Execute marketing plan in collaboration with LBCC Advancement.
- Grow follower base each term.
- Post content on YouTube, SoundCloud and other a/v media services.
- Ensure that content posted follows copyright laws.
- Check with Raymund as to what pieces to post.
- Find creative ways to use a/v/social media to get LB Choirs’ message out.
- Attend weekly 10-minute stand up meetings (Mondays at 2:50pm).
- Other duties as assigned.
