We need to hire a Service Advisor/Writer to provide prompt, dependable, high-quality consulting for Harley-Davidson vehicle service guests by using current pro-active feature/benefit processes and active delivery presentation for new and used vehicles. The position is designed to create an exceptional experience for the customer/prospect, create an ongoing and growing revenue stream, and repeat/referral business.

Job Description

Guide customers through the entire motorcycle repair/maintenance process, advise them on service options and costs, offer 'specials', sell parts, accessories & installation, schedule service appointments.

Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:

  1. Guide customers through the entire motorcycle repair/maintenance process.
  2. Advise them on service options and costs.
  3. Offer 'specials'.
  4. Sell parts, accessories & installation.
  5. Schedule service appointments.
  6. Follow their bike from service bay entry to completion.
  7. Quality control bike.
  8. Review completed work order with customers to ensure their satisfaction.
  9. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Service Advisor/Writer experience is a plus but not required. Training is provided!

  • Good communication, customer service, computer and sales skills.
  • Driver's license and good driving record is required.
  • Ability to push, move and/or ride an 800 lb. motorcycle is required.
  • Ability to drive a truck with a trailer is a plus!
  • A motorcycle endorsement is preferred but not required. We will help you obtain a motorcycle endorsement.
  • Energetic and dependable with a good work ethic.
  • Self-motivated to succeed.
  • Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screening.
  • A resume must be uploaded, and online assessment completed for immediate consideration.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.
