Job Description

Duration: 8 Months

Rate: $50/hr On C2C (Max)

Required Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Usability Engineering, or Information Design plus 2 years experience. Certification in Usability plus 4 years experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree. Advanced degree is a plus.

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate User Experience Research activities for products and websites.
2. Research and analyze applications and websites to determine appropriate user experience research activities.
3. Conduct user experience research activities such as usability tests, card sorts, surveys, focus groups, and interviews for complex products and websites.
4. Conduct user experience recruiting activities, such as maintaining the participant database and arranging facility rentals.
5. Set up and run meetings; prepare and distribute meeting notes.
6. Write proposals and create research materials.
7. Gather and analyze activity results; collaborate with User Engineering Services to determine recommendations.
8. Write result reports and conduct presentations to the project team.
9. Analyze usability activity results and provide feedback to the project team.
10. Create and deliver proposals, reports, and presentations on time and with high quality.
11. Coordinate conference activities.
12. Track problems during the course of a project and report resolutions to User Experience Research organization.
13. Evaluate new tools (hardware and software) and review new industry research.
