Job Summary: The Graphic Marketing Assistant is responsible for assisting the Graphic Coordinator by concepting and creating engaging visuals for a variety of media that are on-brand with Milwaukee County Parks. Additionally, focusing specifically on graphic design -- build awareness through bilingual signage, expand our inclusive signage, and showcase racially equitable signage within the Milwaukee County Parks communities. Essential Responsibilities: Typography and Design Projects - Assist Graphics Coordinator with typography and design projects for the entire Milwaukee Parks System. GIS experience a plus. Read and Understand Design briefs - Read and understand design briefs and determine the requirements needed. Able to work on Adobe products within PC platform - Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop on a PC platform. Photography and Editing - Gather, take, and edit photos using Lightroom. From local parks to botanical gardens to beer gardens. Develop print and digital material - Develop signage, Flyers, menu, brochures, and other templates using Canva for internal use. Minimum Requirements: Current resident of the State of Wisconsin. Valid WI Driver's License Associate's degree in graphic design or related field At least One (1) year of experience in Graphic Arts, Graphic Design, Branding Experience working within Adobe Creative Suite on PC preferred. Ability to Lift/push/pull/carry 20 lbs. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experience in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Digital Printing, Branding, print technology. Able to perform communication and coordinate with different agencies. Hourly Pay Range - $20.11 - $25.78 - ($41,828 - $53,622.4 annual) Note: This Original Examination is open to current residents of the state of Wisconsin.
