Job Description:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Marketing Manager to work for our client in St. Louis. In this role, you will play a crucial part in advancing their growing business by creating and owning core product messaging and collateral, enabling sales, gathering market intelligence, and leveraging customer insights. Your efforts will support the development of a successful and agile marketing plan aligned with our strategic market sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify customer needs, key personas, market trends, and the competitive landscape to build differentiated positioning and messaging for various products and services.
• Collaborate closely with sales and development teams to translate technical and product features into benefits-focused messaging.
• Develop compelling product feature narratives with clear, consistent, and engaging messaging through a strong customer focus lens.
• Work with the team to create high-impact customer-facing materials such as solution sheets, infographics, customer emails, social posts, knowledge articles, e-books, case studies, and more.
• Plan and execute new marketing campaigns using effective tools and techniques to maximize market penetration and sales impact.
• Gather and analyze campaign data to support agile decision-making and optimize lead generation.
• Conduct market and customer research to understand industry trends and uncover opportunities.
• Ensure knowledge sharing, accountability, and successful execution of marketing initiatives by collaborating with sales and marketing teams.
• Set clear, measurable goals, track business results, and conduct cross-functional post-mortems to drive continuous improvement.
• Act as a project manager, overseeing the execution of key initiatives in collaboration with creative teams, leadership, and external resources.
Requirements:
• Demonstrated ability to understand and effectively communicate solutions that align with market buyers' pain points, goals, and needs.
• Proven experience in marketing or advertising, with a focus on go-to-market positioning, messaging, planning, and execution.
• Expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, email campaigns, and Google Analytics.
• Experience working cross-functionally between marketing, sales, design, and development teams.
• Successful track record in go-to-market messaging and content creation.
• Detail-oriented with a good eye for effective design.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time while meeting or exceeding goals.
• Ability to manage and potentially attend tradeshows and industry events as required.
• Flexibility to meet business needs in other departments as needed.
• 7+ years of relevant B2B marketing experience preferred.
Educational Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
Organizational Relationships:
• Works closely with all members of the marketing, design, and production teams.
• Regularly interfaces with various sales departments to achieve objectives.
