As a UX Researcher at Sage Network, you will be at the forefront of innovating user experience, directly shaping products that revolutionize the accounting industry. At Sage Network, we are dedicated to pioneering user experience design through research. Our commitment is to create products that meet and exceed user expectations. As a part of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and shaping the future of UX. Join us in our journey to redefine the accounting experience with groundbreaking UX design.
As with the other roles on the product team, this position is an individual contributor role. You will need to influence your teammates, colleagues, stakeholders, and key executives by using data and logic. We welcome diverse perspectives and are committed to an inclusive environment where all team members can thrive.
This role is hybrid - three days a week out of our Atlanta office.
What you'll do as a UX Researcher @Sage Network
- User interview processing: here, you will assist with synthesizing key responses and insights from user interviews, efficiently organize these responses using Figma and Notion, and help set up and manage affinity diagrams to analyze our user feedback.
- Feedback integration: collaborating in finalizing UX research reports, adding and categorizing actionable feedback to Productboard, and ensuring the feedback is accessible and understood by relevant teams.
- User centricity: we run different exercises internally where we listen to our customers, watch their sessions, and document their pain points; this is one of our methods for delivering great products to our customers. You'll work closely with various squads to help process this data.
- Scheduling and conducting interviews; help in scheduling and organizing user panels, which include different sets of users we currently have. Participate in interviews to gather critical insights and synthesize and report findings to enhance product development.
- Contextual inquiry: assists in the planning and executing more contextual inquiries, analyzes and interprets contextual data to inform design and product strategies, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate insights into product development.
- Persona development: lead the initiative to develop and refine user personas, created personas for Developer panels and our Sage Network App panel members to understand behaviors and desired workflows better, and utilized research data to build comprehensive, accurate personas.
- Work closely with your design and research counterparts, PMs, and engineering to foster an exceptional collaborative environment and deliver effective solutions.
- Be a great collaborator and communicator, be kind, and have fun along the way.
- We're seeking individuals who are not only skilled in UX research but are also passionate about creating delightful user experiences and thinking outside the box.
