Overview The Content and Media Senior Manager is responsible for developing and executing content and media strategies that grow the BAND app’s awareness, trust, and user adoption. By creating compelling content and media campaigns, and leveraging media channels effectively, you will drive our brand's presence and market sentiment. This role requires a blend of creative and strategic thinking, as you will oversee content production and distribution, marketing campaigns, and work closely with both in-house teams and external partners (agencies, influencers, media outlets) to elevate BAND’s position in the market. Key Responsibilities Media & Channel Development Identify and collaborate with strategic channels to increase awareness and adoption of BAND, including websites, influencers, podcasts, online communities, industry organizations, social media platforms, and relevant brands. Build partnerships with media outlets, influencers, and advertising platforms for sponsored content and ad placements to maximize reach and impact. Develop a content strategy tailored to targeted media. Identify media outlets that effectively convey the brand message. Stay ahead of trends in digital marketing, social media, and the tech industry to inform strategy. Campaign Execution Craft a compelling and inspiring brand narrative that resonates with BAND’s diverse user base. Translate the narrative into engaging campaigns that build trust and brand affinity. Develop integrated marketing campaigns to drive engagement across digital, social, and traditional media channels. Design and execute viral campaigns that generate buzz and expand BAND’s reach. Content Production & Distribution Oversee the planning, development, and distribution of content across all channels, including media outlets, owned channels (such as in-app, social media, and blog), and partner channels. Collaborate with in-house creative teams and/or external agencies to produce high-quality, audience-focused content. Create content that resonates with target users, drives trust, and aligns with BAND’s brand narrative. Performance/Digital Marketing Develop and execute performance-driven digital marketing strategies to boost user acquisition, engagement, and retention across paid search, social media, and other digital channels. Optimize digital campaigns using analytics tools to improve ROI, targeting, and messaging. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align campaigns with business objectives. Manage budgets and ensure effective allocation across channels. Implement A/B testing for ad creatives, landing pages, and emails to drive conversions. Track key metrics (CPA, ROAS, CTR) to evaluate campaign performance and inform improvements. User & Market Research Conduct user interviews and market research to develop a deep understanding of audience needs and industry sentiment. Use insights to inform content strategy and optimize campaign performance. Requirements • 6 years of experience in content and media strategy, performance marketing, or related fields. • Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns across multiple digital channels. • Extensive experience with content production , collaborating with creative teams, agencies, and freelancers to produce high-quality content. • Strong ability to craft and communicate a compelling brand narrative that resonates with diverse audiences. • Excellent communication skills , both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally. • Team Player : Flexible, collaborative, and proactive, excited to contribute to the team’s success. • Aesthetically Driven : Sharp eye for content and design, ensuring all materials are visually compelling and on-brand. • Team Leader/Manager : Experience leading and inspiring in-house teams and external agencies. • Savvy on Users, Market, Trends : Understand the evolving digital landscape, including trends in social media and user behavior. • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including paid search, social media, influencer partnerships, and content distribution. • Up-to-date on trends in social media, digital marketing, and the tech industry. • Experience in user research and leveraging insights to inform strategy. Experience Demonstrated success in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across diverse digital and traditional media channels. Hands-on experience with performance-driven digital marketing strategies , optimizing campaigns to achieve metrics like CPA, ROAS, and CTR. Expertise in building and managing partnerships with media outlets, influencers, and advertising platforms to maximize reach and impact. Proficiency in leveraging user and market research to inform content and campaign strategies, including conducting A/B testing and analyzing user behavior.
