The Assistant Community Manager plays a crucial supporting role in maintaining a smooth-running space that is welcoming, clean, and productive. This position is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, support community engagement, and be an essential part of a dynamic team.

About the Role:

The Assistant Community Manager (ACM) assists the Community Manager in daily operations, providing exceptional service and ensuring the space is optimized for member productivity. The ACM is expected to maintain a welcoming atmosphere, assist with operational tasks, and support community-building efforts. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with greeting visitors and members, ensuring they feel welcome and informed.
  2. Support Community Manager in conducting tours and onboarding new members.
  3. Assist with member services, including equipment check-ins, troubleshooting minor tech issues, and ensuring services are running smoothly.
  4. Maintain the cleanliness of the space and assist in preparing meeting rooms between bookings.
  5. Help plan and execute community and public events, contributing to the space's overall vibe.
  6. Assist with administrative tasks, including membership processing and maintaining records.
  7. Provide general assistance to members, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
  8. Liaise with vendors and other stakeholders to coordinate services, such as maintenance or event needs.

Experience & Requirements:

  1. High school diploma required, some college coursework preferred.
  2. 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, or office environments.
  3. Familiarity with basic office technology and coworking software, specifically G-Suite: Primarily Gmail, Chat, Google Workspace, Google Meet, as well as ChatGPT and Canva.
  4. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management. Phone etiquette and professional demeanor for email correspondence, proficient in grammar and punctuation, strong command of English.
  5. Positive attitude and eagerness to assist members and team members alike.
