Introduction:

At Majestic Home Solutions LLC, we are looking for a Design Assistant who wants to focus their career in residential remodeling. We primarily focus on finished basements, kitchens, and bathrooms. Our mission for our Design Assistant is to gain experience in the process of a designer in the residential remodeling industry. The Design Assistant position is full-time, requiring between 37-42 hours weekly.

General Overview:

As a Design Assistant at Majestic Home Solutions, your duties will include assisting design associates with tasks such as organizing, adjusting, and updating plans for given projects. Additionally, you will communicate with clients and the production team regarding selection and design details, assist with sales and design estimation, and perform some production-related administrative responsibilities. This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals looking to eventually grow into a Design Associate position at Majestic.

Objectives:

  1. Learn the Design Build Process
  2. Rendering on Chief Architect
  3. Designing Kitchens
  4. Designing Bathrooms
  5. Designing Finished Basements
  6. Develop Selection Process
  7. Creating Plan Take-Offs
  8. Updating BuilderTrend Client Portfolios
  9. Communication with Clients
  10. Communication with Production Team
  11. Sales and Design Assistant Work
  12. Selection Ordering and Planning
  13. Administration Work
  14. Production Assistant Work

Responsibilities:

  1. Design Interns will be in the office 5 days per week.
  2. Start time in the office is between 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM.
  3. Business casual attire is required.
  4. Direct Managers are the Design Associates.
  5. Complete daily and weekend tasks.
