Freshwater Curated Goods is a unique space where it joins together a production workspace and retail storefront. If you are pursuing a career in the arts and/or business with a desire to be immersed in the process of running a small wholesale, online & retail business, this is a great opportunity and we would love to meet you! The Studio & Shop Assistant will be a part of the production process of creating and completing Freshwater-made products. The Studio & Shop Assistant will also be responsible for assisting customers as they shop within our Retail Shop and all the tasks that apply. We are looking for someone with a passion for small business to assist with everyday studio production & retail storefront tasks. The right person should have an optimistic mindset and a willingness to learn from our management team. We are looking for someone with a bright & bubbly personality who genuinely loves people and being a positive part of someone's day!

DUTIES:

1. Daily tasks where you "finish" Freshwater-made products (tagging, cleaning, assembling, packaging)
2. Help keep track of job supply inventory
3. Keeping work area clean and organized to increase efficiency
4. Greet customers warmly and offer them assistance and answer any questions.
5. Add up customers’ total purchases and accept payment
6. Keep front desk and storefront clean and tidy - includes cleaning, dusting, sweeping, watering plants, etc.
7. Restock product as needed
8. Perform all opening & closing duties
9. Input, creating labels and tag all new inventory

TIME: 20 +/- hours a week

SCHEDULE: TBD - Available on Saturdays is required.

LOCATION: Augusta, GA.
