Job Summary:
The Course Materials Manager is responsible for coordinating and overseeing all operations within the University Store's course materials department, managing annual sales exceeding $7.5 million annually. This role encompasses all course material procurement, returns, inclusive access, digital delivery, rental and buyback. The position will also oversee the overall function, operation and organization of the University Store warehouse. The Course Materials Manager will collaborate as a key member of the University Store leadership team, providing insight and support to the associate director to achieve overall store goals and operational success. Extended hours may be required during peak times of the year including the start of each semester, textbook buyback, inventory and football gamedays.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with extended periods of physical activity is required.

Position Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
HS/GED and 8 years progressive experience in a managerial capacity in a large retail environment. OR a bachelor's degree in management, Marketing, English, or related field and 4 years of experience in a managerial capacity in a large retail environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Management, Marketing or English Related field/Degree.
Ten years experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity in a large retail environment, preferably in the college bookstore industry. Experience with Ratex inventory system strongly preferred.
