We are seeking a visionary and experienced Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) (m/f/d) to lead our product marketing efforts and drive brand awareness, thought leadership, pipeline generation, customer acquisition, commercialization, and ultimately revenue and adoption growth within the supply chain management sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a similar role and strong leadership skills.

What your Organization will do:

  1. Strategic Marketing Leadership:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and product strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
    • Ensure seamless interlock between product strategy, execution plans, and external marketing communication.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audiences, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
    • Set marketing KPIs and track performance to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
  2. Event Strategy Development:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive event strategies that drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
    • Plan, coordinate, and manage a diverse range of events, from large-scale conferences to intimate workshops.
  3. Brand Management:
    • Build and maintain a strong brand identity and positioning for Supply Chain Management.
    • Manage brand messaging, storytelling, and visual identity.
  4. Demand and Pipeline Generation:
    • Develop and implement effective demand generation strategies, including content marketing and social media marketing.
  5. Customer Marketing:
    • Build strong relationships with strategic customers and foster customer loyalty.
  6. Organizational Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing organization.
  7. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to align marketing efforts with product development and customer needs.

What you bring

  • Extensive experience in marketing leadership roles, preferably within the supply chain or logistics industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and proven ability to drive brand awareness.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Typically requires 15 years of experience in technology marketing.
