Job Type: Contract, 2.5 months (possibility of extension)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Tue, Wed, Thu in-office; Mon, Fri remote)
Compensation Range: $60 - 68 per hour
We are seeking a UX Designer IV to join our client's Conversational Team, where you'll play a pivotal role in designing best-in-class experiences for our customers. You'll focus on creating intuitive and engaging user experiences across chatbots, IVR applications, messaging apps, and other conversational interfaces. Leveraging your expertise in user-centered design, natural language processing (NLP), and conversational design methodologies, you'll simplify complex experiences and deliver seamless, impactful solutions.
Responsibilities: Generate multiple design solutions and recommend the best approach.
Conduct user research to understand conversational interaction needs and behaviors.
Stay updated on trends and best practices in conversational design, AI, and NLP.
Create prototypes and design mockups, iterating based on user feedback.
Design intuitive conversational flows, including medium-complex flowcharts and logic flows.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve larger, open-ended problems.
Update user personas, UI elements, and support testing related to design specifications.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and refine concepts based on prototype testing.
Review and provide feedback on wireframes and prototypes.
What We're Looking For: You are an experienced UX designer with a strong background in voice and conversational design . Your designs reflect a balance between user needs and business goals, and you excel in navigating the nuances of creating conversational experiences. You thrive in a collaborative environment and bring fresh perspectives to design challenges.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
7+ years of experience in UX design, with a focus on conversational interfaces (e.g., chatbots, voice assistants, messaging apps).
Proficiency with Figma, Lucidchart, Sketch, or similar tools.
Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with agile development environments.
Preferred Qualifications: Degree in design or a related field.
Knowledge of NLP principles and techniques.
Ability to translate complex technical requirements into intuitive designs.
Experience with tools like JIRA, Smart Sheets, and Google Suite.
Familiarity with sentiment analysis, entity recognition, and language identification.
