Location: Cupertino, CA 95014


Duration: 6+ months with possible extension or conversion

Position Overview:

  • Native-level fluency in English for the Canadian market, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Expert knowledge of grammar, spelling, and cultural nuances to ensure content aligns with Canadian cultural and linguistic norms.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Design, Product, Editorial, Safety, and Engineering to deliver high-quality results on time.
  • Define evaluation requirements for Machine Learning and Large Language Models (LLMs) across various projects.
  • Maintain high data quality standards and refine processes based on feedback, both qualitative and quantitative.
  • Perform tasks like content evaluation, metadata research, quality assurance, copywriting, and reporting on diverse media and content types.
  • Address challenges by providing clear feedback to leads and effectively communicating recommendations to editorial and engineering teams.
  • Utilize workflows and tools while adhering to guidelines provided by the Project Lead, Style Guides, and Terminology Databases.
  • Familiarity with LLMs and evaluation techniques such as human evaluation and automated benchmarks is desirable.
  • Conduct human-centric research to create and validate automated benchmarks for LLM evaluation, ensuring data quality and validity.

Advanced degree in linguistics, computer science, machine learning, cognitive science, psychology, economics, or a related field (preferred).
