Hours: Full-time

Duration: 6 months


Job Description:

We’re looking for a Content Producer/Linguistic Specialist with native-level fluency in English to help us evaluate and improve content for the Canadian market. In this role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that content is accurate, culturally appropriate, and aligned with local norms. You’ll also help support Machine Learning (ML) and Large Language Models (LLMs) projects, ensuring high-quality data and content across various media types.


Responsibilities:

  • Linguistic & Cultural Expertise: Ensure all content follows Canadian English grammar, spelling, and cultural norms for the Canadian market.
  • Collaboration: Work with Design, Product, Editorial, Safety, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality results on time.
  • Data Quality: Maintain high standards for data quality and improve processes based on feedback.
  • Content Evaluation: Review, research, and verify content and metadata accuracy across different media types.
  • Feedback & Problem Solving: Provide feedback to editorial and engineering teams and suggest improvements.
  • Content & Workflow Management: Follow established workflows and ensure content aligns with project guidelines, including Apple style guides.
  • LLM Evaluation: Help evaluate Large Language Models using human evaluations and automated benchmarks.
  • Research & Data Collection: Conduct surveys or experiments with human participants to gather insights for LLM evaluation.


Qualifications:

  • Native-level fluency in English (Canadian market).
  • Strong understanding of Canadian English grammar, spelling, and cultural norms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver results on time.
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning or Large Language Models (preferred).
  • Experience with data quality management and conducting research with human participants (a plus).
  • Degree in Linguistics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field (preferred).
