Iron Fish Construction is hiring: Marketing Associate in Arlington

Iron Fish is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Associate to join our growing team. This person will report to the Director of Operations and will play a key role in supporting marketing campaigns, creating social media content, construction industry promotional materials, and assisting in market research to promote our brand and services to potential clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing strategies and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Creation and Management: Develop engaging content and assist in the creation of brochures for various platforms (website, social media, email newsletters, etc.), showcasing the company’s construction teams, projects, services, and expertise.
2. Digital Marketing: Manage and update the company’s website, social media accounts, and online presence.
3. Brand Awareness: Help design and execute a marketing plan to enhance brand recognition and position the company as a trusted leader in the construction industry.
4. Lead Generation and CRM: Support lead generation strategies, including email campaigns, promotional materials, and outreach programs. Assist with maintaining customer relationship management (CRM) software to track prospects and client interactions.
5. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct competitor analysis, track industry trends, and gather customer feedback to provide insights for marketing strategies.
6. Event and Trade Show Support: Help coordinate marketing materials and promotions for industry-related events, conferences, and trade shows.
7. Collaboration with Sales and Project Teams: Work closely with the sales and project management teams to ensure marketing materials accurately reflect the company’s services and capabilities.
8. Reporting and Analytics: Track and analyze marketing performance using tools like Google Analytics, providing reports on campaign effectiveness and suggesting improvements.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field. A background or interest in construction is a plus.
2. Experience: 1-2 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the construction or related industries.

Skills:

1. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
2. Familiarity with marketing tools (e.g., CRM system, Photoshop, Constant Contact, MailChimp, Google Analytics, Adobe, Canva).
3. Social media management experience (LinkedIn, Instagram).
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
5. Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
7. Self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
