Position Overview
In addition to website creation, this position will work on site improvements, edits, fixes, and provide technical support and training to clients. The number of site builds vs support work will be determined by a combination of need, proficiency, and candidate’s preference.

Your Tasks Will Include
- Develop fast, responsive, user-friendly WordPress sites that are SEO-optimized, ADA compliant, and closely match approved designs.
- Answer support tickets in a timely manner.
- Assist senior team members with SEO and ADA.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure content consistency and alignment across all marketing efforts.
Skills & Requirements
Skills:
- Strong grasp of clean and responsive code.
- Some experience and basic understanding of WordPress themes, plugins, hooks, templates, shortcodes, and the WordPress loop.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to interface with clients in a professional manner.
- Ability to investigate and diagnose problems and solve them in a timely manner.
- Some familiarity with digital marketing channels and tools such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Semrush.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey concepts to clients and team members.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in web development or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience working with HTML, CSS, JS, and PHP, with a desire to learn.
- Proven development experience with existing websites, preferably in an agency setting.

Work Location:
- Remote work with in-person meetings and team-building activities in Harrisonburg, VA.
- Option to work in the office at our Harrisonburg location.
