Hours: Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM (extended hours when requested)

Job Summary
The Advertising Coordinator will aid with the traditional and digital advertising activities in the Marketing department. Reporting to the assistant director of performance marketing, the advertising coordinator will provide support for the traditional media team to include planning, executing, and reporting of advertising campaigns, ensuring opportunities to build the brand’s authority and affinity among target audiences.

- Assists the assistant director of performance marketing in conducting market research to identify strategic traditional media advertising opportunities among multiple marketing channels including outdoor, television, radio/digital audio, print publications, and sponsorships, as well as various digital channels as needed.
- Aids in management of creative production schedule and timely advertising material submission.
- Monitors and analyzes campaign performance, providing reports for internal stakeholders and insights for improvement.
- Maintains up-to-date records of all advertising materials and communications.
- Coordinates with advertising vendors and agencies to execute contracting and invoicing process.
- Collaborates with the communications team in producing advertising collateral, promotions, and other content marketing projects as needed.
- Assists in organizing and representing CSU at sponsored events to build brand awareness and strengthen community partnerships.

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a closely related field preferred.
- 1-to-3 years of professional experience; higher education and project coordination experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Associated Press Style is preferred.
- Experience with HubSpot marketing campaigns and CRM is a plus.
- Experience in higher education marketing is a plus.
