Job Title: Technical Director

Overview: The Worcester Red Sox are recruiting talented, hard-working, and motivated individuals to be a part of the WooSox Productions Team.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Takes all cues from the show director to execute the game or event broadcast and technically direct the videoboard.
- Work with the producer and show director to execute a top-notch show, fulfilling all the content on the rundown while making spur-of-the-moment decisions as needed.
- Load in all creative assets prior to production, create Macros, M/E’s, etc. for broadcast and ensure all is operational and correct prior to the show.
- Executes the show rundown, communicates with the director, PA announcer, show producer, etc. to produce a cohesive show that flows and tells a story.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Characteristics:
- Willingness to learn different positions related to WooSox Productions.
- Experience with Ross Touch Drive boards, control switchers, etc.
- Knowledgeable about situational baseball and what shot to go to given what is happening on the field of play.
- Ability to take direction and perform tasks independently and efficiently while working cohesively on a team.
- Be proactive and maintain positive working relationships with staff and productions crew.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Possess a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.
- Ability to work non-traditional hours (nights, weekends, holidays) based on event schedule.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, management, executive leadership, and event managers.
Pay Range: $15 an hour
