Overview
The Power Group is seeking a social media manager who wants to work in a fast-paced agency environment that offers the ability to lead, grow and manage creative social media projects as well as mentor and lead junior colleagues. The ideal candidate for this role is self-driven, experienced and has a proven record of leading teams and clients. Prior agency experience is a must. The social media manager is accountable for client satisfaction and responsive service.This role is also responsible for supporting day-to-day account management and serves as a primary point of contact for a number of Power Clients.The ideal candidate is able to provide leadership and direction for account team members and clients, while embodying the company’s core values: Do The Right Thing, Win Together and Create Happiness and Fun.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications or advertising
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant post-grad experience in social media, digital marketing and/or related fields including, advertising and communications
- Proven experience with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and X
- Ability to analyze and capture social media data/metrics and provide strategic recommendations to Power Clients
- Knowledge and expertise of META Ads, LinkedIn Ads and Google Analytics. SEO experience is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written, verbal and oral communications skills
- Ability to project manage by demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong computer skills; proficient working in Microsoft Office Suite, MailChimp, Canva, Sprout Social or equivalent
- Prior PR/marketing/digital agency experience is required
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends for special events
Responsibilities
- Lead outlining strategy and tactics for client social media plans
- Craft and edit high-quality, creative and error free social media content calendars, social media ad copy and newsletter content
- Shoot and edit photos/videos, graphics and other creative content for sharing on various social media platforms
- Oversee community management (respond to comments, messages and online reviews)
- Research, follow and understand local and national influencers
- Conduct influencer outreach for strategic social media accounts, secure influencer partnerships for client events/promotions
- Collaborate with PR team to develop cohesive campaign ideas and initiatives
- Communicate swiftly and effectively with clients
- Provides mentorship, support and coaching to Social Media Specialists, Coordinators, and interns
