Title: Brand Marketing Director
Location: New York, NY (hybrid 3 days on-site per week)

Our Fintech Start-up client is searching for an experienced Brand Marketing Director to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. The Brand Marketing Director will help shape the brand's voice, via strategizing creative delivery and marketing campaign execution.
In this role, you'll lead the development and execution of brand strategies that resonate deeply with entrepreneurs, managing a team of channel marketers and creative professionals. By shaping the brand's identity, marketing communications, and customer experience, you will help establish our client's brand.
You will be responsible for: Turn brand strategy into action: Translate brand strategy into channel level tactics. Shape our client's overall positioning, messaging, and creative framework, ensuring it aligns with the company's mission and resonates with small business audiences. Leading Teams: Build, manage and inspire a team of channel marketers and creative professionals to deliver cohesive, high-impact campaigns and initiatives. Overseeing Creative Strategy: Manage internal and external creative teams to develop compelling content, campaigns, and materials that reflect the brand's identity and purpose. Shaping the Channel Strategy: Own the overall channel strategy for marketing communications across digital advertising, social media, content, events, sponsorships and direct mail and email, ensuring consistent and engaging messaging and content. Data-Driven Decision-Making: Use insights from customer research and performance metrics to optimize brand strategies and inform future initiatives. Driving Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Operations, and other teams to ensure brand strategies align with business objectives and customer needs. Requirements for the Role:
10+ years of experience in brand strategy, marketing, or communications, with a proven track record of owning and building a brand. 4+ years in a leadership role, managing teams of strategists, marketers, and creative professionals. Expertise in developing and executing multi-channel brand strategies, including digital, social, direct mail and events. Understanding of small business or consumer financial service shopper behavior and 'moments that matter.' Proven ability to manage creative and strategic teams to deliver on-brand, high-quality marketing materials and campaigns. Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams and present to senior leadership. Highly organized and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Preferred: Experience in fintech, banking or CPG, with a focus on consumer or small business marketing.
