We seek a highly skilled Interior Design Office Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role combines artistic vision with operational expertise, ensuring that our design projects are executed efficiently and with the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior design, team management, marketing experience, and a proven track record of managing project workflows, budgets, and client relationships. As the Design Coordinator, you will work with the CEO to oversee the day-to-day operations of our design studio, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will also work closely with owners, designers, contractors, and vendors to facilitate the smooth execution of design initiatives.
Your ability to streamline processes, improve team collaboration, and drive functionality will be crucial to the success of our projects. Duties
- Work with a team of designers, and purchasing, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Review comprehensive Contruction Documents and Contracts.
- Utilize design software such as CAD, Microsoft Office Suites, and Houzz Pro a management software. QBO experience is a plus.
- Prepare project budgets and manage costs throughout the design process.
- Coordinate with our in-house purchasing persons and vendors to facilitate the procurement of materials and furnishings.
- Conduct site visits on install days to assess progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
- With the bid department, present design concepts to clients using visual aids such as mood boards or digital renderings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, business management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in design software including HOUZZ, CAD, Revit, Adobe Suite, and Bluebeam.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
- CRM job management experience.
- Experience in budgeting for interior design projects.
- Knowledge of remodeling processes and best practices in construction.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating innovative designs that meet client expectations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
